Job summary

Healthforce seeks a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role runs 8 weeks starting Oct 5, 2026, with a 36-hour weekly schedule on day shifts (12-hour shifts, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm) across three days.

You will perform CT imaging on GE scanners, prepare patients, administer contrast when trained, and collaborate with Radiologists using EPIC for orders and results. Guaranteed hours, travel support, and extension opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC radiology software or similar EMR/RIS systems preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, trauma-focused hospital environment.
• Willingness to cover day shifts on a 12-hour schedule (7:00 am – 7:30 pm) as part of a 3-day work week.
• Proficiency with CT imaging protocols and patient positioning in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures on GE CT scanners, including both older platform units and Revolution platform models, following established protocol.
• Position and prepare patients, provide clear explanations, and ensure comfort and safety during scanning.
• Administer contrast agents as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions, when credentialed and trained.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic CT images by adjusting acquisition parameters and protocols to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Utilize the EPIC system for order entry, result documentation, and workflow communication with radiologists and clinicians.
• Collaborate with the patient care team in a Level 1 trauma, stroke, and burn imaging context to deliver timely imaging and accurate findings.
