National Staffing Solutions-Surgical Services is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. The position runs for 13 weeks with a 40-hour work week and rotating 8-hour shifts.

The CT Technologist will operate CT scanners, educate patients, provide essential patient care, take medical histories, and position patients to obtain the best anatomical images.

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the CT Tech:

• Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
• Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations
• Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures
• Take patient medical history before an exam
• Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated
