Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. The position runs for 26 weeks with 12-hour daytime shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, and offers travel benefits and credentialing support.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state law. Independent work and teamwork are both important in this role.

Qualifications

• 18 months experience as CT Tech in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Licensure in most states.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and operate CT equipment.
• Set controls and monitor equipment; adjust as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging, IVs and contrast.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT image quality and label sequences.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Operate power injections for contrast media; ensure safety.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care and maintain a safe work environment.
