Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Manchester, NH is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification with registration, BLS, and state licensing where required.

You will operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure image quality while following safety protocols. Work is 36 hours per week on day shifts, with a travel assignment offering a tax-free stipend and weekly pay through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required.
• CT Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions.
• Position patients for scans and capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Manchester, NH. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements
