Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for an immediate opening in Chattanooga, TN. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT) certification, and state licensing where required. You’ll perform CT imaging, contrast administration, patient care, and operate PACS in a fast-paced travel setting.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) Certification with registration in CT and state licensing when required.
CT Techs must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Requirements include ARRT (CT), BLS, ARRT (R) and 2 years of experience.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support.
Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Chattanooga, TN. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for the use of computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. CT Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing CT scanning.

Tasks

As a CT Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues

Requirements
