Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Carlsbad, NM. The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepares patients, and collaborates with radiologists to ensure quality imaging and patient safety.

The role requires one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred. Travel benefits and dedicated support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Set technical parameters to optimize image quality.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment.
• Document patient data and imaging details in hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely services.
