Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.

Travel benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and licensure reimbursement. This role requires 1 year CT experience, valid radiology license, and BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ARRT Certification is preferred; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients and position them for procedures with safety and accuracy in mind.
• Set technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostics.
