Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in North Chesterfield, VA. The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images, prepares patients, and works with radiologists to obtain high-quality images while following safety protocols.

Requirements include one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of CT technologist experience or equivalent.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately.
