Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hopewell, VA. The role involves operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of Radiologists.

The position offers a travel-friendly experience with 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and comprehensive benefits through Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology. A valid radiology license and BLS are required, with ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT Certification is preferred; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients, position them, and explain imaging process.
• Set technical parameters to optimize anatomy and pathology visualization.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
