Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Grass Valley, California. The role is a 13-week travel position, by 40 hours per week, with days shifts. The CT Tech must have ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where required.

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, patient care, and using PACS systems. We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of CT experience who can accurately capture diagnostic images and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CT tech experience.
• Current BLS and ARRT CT certification with registration.
• State licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and prepare patients for CT scans.
• Position patients to scan targeted body areas.
• Operate CT equipment and acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate image quality for technical adequacy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image storage and retrieval.
