Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Surgical Services is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Folsom, California. This position requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour daytime shifts on travel assignments across facilities.

The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, educate patients, obtain pre-scan histories, and position patients to obtain optimal images while delivering quality care and patient safety throughout the exam process. Start date is 11/02/2026.

Qualifications

• Operate head or body x-ray scanners to produce CT images.
• Educate and prepare patients for examinations.
• Position patients to obtain clear diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
• Educate and prepare patients for their examinations
• Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures
• Take patient medical history before an exam
• Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated
