Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Martinsburg, WV. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, prepares patients, follows safety protocols, and collaborates with radiologists to deliver high-quality images.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT certification is preferred; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech practice.
