American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in Clyde, North Carolina. You will assist the surgical team by transferring patients, prepping the operating room, and supporting the surgeon during procedures, while adhering to strict aseptic technique.

Requirements include at least 1 year of CST experience, NBSTSA certification recommended, state license/registration if required, and BLS from AHA.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of CST experience in clinical setting.
• NBSTSA certification is highly recommended.
• Valid CST license or registration if required by the state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Professional references available on request.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in transfers to and from the OR and position patients on the operating table.
• Prepare the patient and environment for surgery and assist the physician during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with cleaning and sterilizing the OR and instruments.
• Manage surgical supply inventory and place orders as needed to ensure tools are available for surgeons.
• Opportunity to specialize in particular case types and settings (acute care hospitals, outpatient centers).
