Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in West Allis, Wisconsin. The CRT will deliver respiratory interventions, support patients with acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements include 1 year of CRT experience, NBRC CRT credential, state license, and BLS. Preferred ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting samples.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family on proper medication usage and device operation.
• Perform other duties within CRT practice.
