MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Kentucky.

This assignment is a travel position with 13 weeks duration, starting 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour shifts. The role requires an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and ER experience with potential BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room RN provide care for patients with illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Duties Responsibilities

Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.

• Responsible for assessing, intervening and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care, they must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues.
• Properly understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Able to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
