Healthforce is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel assignment in Salinas, California. The 13-week contract starts 11/23/2026 with guaranteed 35 hours per week in a skilled nursing facility, providing therapy services and documenting progress.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team, perform evaluations and treatments per the plan of care, and assist with discharge planning and caregiver education. Travel support is provided.

Formación

• Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency with standard documentation and electronic health records.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to residents per the plan of care.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions to improve daily living and mobility.
• Document progress notes and treatment interventions in the resident’s chart.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to coordinate care.
• Monitor safety, infection control, and use of equipment during sessions.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver education.
