Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a skilled nursing facility assignment in Monterey County, CA. This 13-week travel position offers a flexible Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule and mentorship for newer clinicians, with Net Health EMR experience preferred.

Active OTA license and BLS certification are required, with strong documentation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sheriff SNF setting in Monterey County, CA.
• 13-week assignment.
• Flexible schedule: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat.
• Uses Net Health EMR system.
• Works with residents under supervision of an OT.
• Implements OT treatment plans to improve functional independence.
• Communicates with supervising OT and care team.
• Maintains facility policy compliance and Medicare guidelines.
• Completes documentation per facility standards.
• Flexible and collaborative mindset required.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
