Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners, LLC is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Cape May, NJ. The role requires working 40 hours per week with days 08:30-16:30.

Travel experience and NJ COTA license are essential; BLS may be required. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to help residents regain daily living skills, while adhering to facility documentation procedures and collaborating with an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Must have NJ COTA license to start assignment.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to follow established facility documentation procedures and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Prior geriatric/restorative therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Maintain required documentation and comply with facility procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes.
