Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with active licensure.
• Active state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• COTA experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed OT, help patients regain daily living skills.
• Float to other units as needed within the facility type.
