Qualifications

• Active COTA license in Texas or willingness to obtain.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out customized treatment plans designed by an OT.
• Help patients develop or restore daily living and work activities.
• Use therapeutic techniques to support physical, cognitive, and psychosocial goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team for best outcomes.
