Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in Walla Walla, WA. The role involves providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility while upholding security standards.

You must hold a current LPN license for the state, have a minimum of one year in corrections if possible, and meet federal/state requirements. CPR, TB screening, and a health certificate may apply.

Qualifications

• Current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility
• Maintain facility security standards
