Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Corrections LPN/LVN for a travel assignment in Santa Rosa, NM. The nurse provides general and emergency care in the Corrections Facility while upholding security standards, working 36 hours weekly for a pay rate of $1,540 per week.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility.
• Maintains facility security standards while delivering care.
• Works in close contact with adults and juveniles in custody on a daily basis.
