Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Local Travel CT/XR Technologist for a 13-week contract in Grants, New Mexico. The successful candidate will perform CT and X-ray examinations, ensure image quality, and maintain patient safety in a dynamic clinical setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications (or provisional CT), and a current NM license.

Qualifications

• New Mexico State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT(CT) certification or provisional CT required.
• Current clinical competency in diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Operate X-ray and CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide positioning and support.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards.
• Verify patient information, examination orders, and imaging protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain equipment and report equipment concerns or malfunctions as appropriate.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication throughout the assignment.
