AAA invites you to join our travel consulting team in Tuscaloosa, AL as a Travel Consultant. This on-site role emphasizes building client relationships, designing personalized itineraries, and driving repeat business through exceptional service.

You’ll leverage CRM tools, stay current on destinations, and grow the business via referrals and networking while delivering memorable travel experiences for our members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage details effectively.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to plan and book domestic and international travel, including cruises, tours, vacation packages, hotels, airfare, and transportation.
• Create personalized travel experiences tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
• Develop new business through networking, referrals, community engagement, and proactive follow-up.
• Quickly respond to leads and opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning process.
• Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Utilize travel technology, CRM tools, and digital platforms to manage client relationships and bookings.

Work Environment

This is an on-site, sales-driven position focused on travel consulting, relationship management, and business development. Successful consultants actively build their business through referrals, networking, and exceptional customer experiences. Flexibility to step up when business needs arise, including occasional overtime during peak periods and Saturdays as needed.
