Auto Club Enterprises in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Travel Consultant to assist AAA members with insurance, memberships, and travel services, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will receive training on AAA products, opportunities for cross-selling, and a benefits package including health coverage and retirement plans.

This role emphasizes customer service, organization, and availability during branch hours, with occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service/sales environment, insurance, retail sales, banking, and hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel locally when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals.
• Be given opportunities to advance with skills-based pay increases, monthly bonuses, and career growth.
• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.
• Must be flexible to work one Saturday per month.
• We are closed most weekends and most holidays.
