Job summary

Layton Construction, a national general contractor, is seeking a Project Executive to oversee the financial and overall performance of projects within a designated portfolio. The role focuses on securing new work, maintaining client relations, and guiding pre-construction efforts to ensure customer success.

The Project Executive will drive margins, set strategic directions, and ensure integrity and safety across all activities, while representing Layton throughout industry events and community

Qualifications

• Must pass drug test and comply with company vehicle safety program.
• 4-year degree in a construction-related major.
• Minimum 15 years’ project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior overview and input for project schedules during acquisition and execution.
• Oversee financial and general performance of projects within portfolio.
• Acquire new work and maintain relations with existing and prospective clients.

• Responsible for the customer and their projects, and our performance of those projects from cradle to grave. The customer knows they have a principal in charge they can count on, as do we.
• Ensure that our clients are taken care of and have an enjoyable experience working with our team.
• Lead community service events and participate in select industry events to help foster growth through continual education.
• Participate with development of and review of project schedules. Know how and when to pull in resources to avert problems.
• Looked upon to confront the difficult issues that may arise on a project between construction, personnel matters, and all things in between.
