Job summary

Leidos invites a Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support the FAA Eastern Service Area under NISC IV, providing on-site construction oversight and coordination with Project Engineers and Contracting Officers.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, reviewing RFIs and submittals, and guiding field teams to deliver safe, quality facilities across the eastern U.S. and Caribbean.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) with 10+ years of experience in construction of commercial, industrial, or government facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans/specifications, building materials, and codes.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and travel 100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale construction projects and field operations.
• Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and resolve technical challenges.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Support inspections, commissioning, and project closeout.
