Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control North America is hiring full-time Construction Installers for the Springfield and Chicago, IL area. This traveling role requires spending long hours on site, often at heights up to 60 feet, using hand and power tools to install bird deterrent systems in large facilities.

You’ll travel for extended periods, with transportation, lodging, and meals covered during assignments. We emphasize safety, customer service, and teamwork while delivering effective pest deterrent

Qualifications

• Technicians must be flexible with working hours and able to travel.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to enter and exit structures; climb and balance; work at heights up to 60’
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Certification in Aerial Work Platforms and use of Hilti power actuated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install bird deterrent products using hand and power tools in commercial facilities.
• Work at average heights of 40 ft in aerial lifts, roofs or scaffolding.
• Follow company safety guidelines and communicate effectively with customers and district offices.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist sales and management in reviewing accounts and pricing when needed.
