Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The RN will provide outpatient clinic care, working with physicians and staff to deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced setting. Requirements include 1 year of RN clinic/outpatient experience, current BLS, and licensure eligibility.

ACLS and other certifications may be required. Travel RN with 40 hours/week, 8-hour day shifts, and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in a Clinic or Outpatient setting.
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for State licensure.
• ACLS and/or additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and vital signs; perform nursing assessments.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers.
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately.
• Coordinate patient flow; ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
• Support patient scheduling and administrative duties as needed.
