Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Petoskey, Michigan. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to help patients regain activities of daily living and contribute to interdisciplinary care.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and active Michigan COTA license; BLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan COTA license required to start the assignment.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs and EMR documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to regain skills for daily living under guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.
• Support documentation and progress notes in EMR.
