Job summary

A health system in Texas seeks a Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract. The role involves providing therapeutic services and requires an Associate Degree (COTA) and current Occupational Therapy certification. Qualifications

• Must have minimum 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.

• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification; AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.
• 1-2 years minimum experience.

Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Northwest Texas, short drive from Amarillo, Dallas and Oklahoma City.

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8a-5p

Weekend Coverage: some weekend coverage may be required.

Holiday Requirement: some holidays may be required.

On-call Requirement: per Department need

Dress Code: scrubs, no designated color

Within scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides prescribed therapeutic services in order to restore and prevent disability for clients, or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders.

Education, Experience, Training:

• Association Degree (COTA) from an accredited program
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.
• 1-2 minimum experience
