Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse to join a Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available are Days. The role offers a 12-week assignment with competitive pay and weekly compensation.

Qualifications include an active state RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of acute care experience; critical care experience is preferred. Immediate and flexible opportunities are available to fit your career path.

Qualifications

Must have current and valid state RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required on hire.
Minimum one year of staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital; critical care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Implement immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
Conduct patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
Support daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
Supervise, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
Ensure adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.
