Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse RN CCU for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience with ACLS/BLS certifications and involves 12-hour nights on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will assess and treat critically ill patients, document care plans, and collaborate with physicians and families. Travel positions include competitive benefits and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer, record and report prescribed medications.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and adjust patient monitoring equipment and interpret readings.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members and care team.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
