ARMStaffing seeks a Travel Nurse RN CCU for a 13-week assignment in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role requires nights on a 12-hour shift, with a 36-hour weekly schedule. Start date is 10/26/2026, in a critical care setting, focusing on cardio-thoracic patients and high acuity care using advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• RN License in the state of Texas or compact.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of assigned patients.
• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care administered.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Leads other care providers through appropriate delegation and assignment in managing clinical situations.
