Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CCU - Coronary Care for a travel nursing job in Houston, Texas. The assignment is in CCU with nights and 12-hour shifts. 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 for a duration of 6 weeks.

The candidate must hold an active RN license, have a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of acute care ICU experience. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and comprehensive credentialing support.

Qualifications

Active RN License required.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS certifications required.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care as well as education and support to patients and families.
Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
Monitor vital signs and respond to signs of distress.
Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt changes in patient condition.
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
