MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a Sierra Vista, Arizona assignment. The role involves assisting the cardiac catheterization team, performing interventional procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a high-tech lab environment.

Qualified candidates will have a current license, appropriate certifications, and roughly two years of Cath Lab experience, preferably in a critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains high level of patient care through communication with patients, families and physicians; addresses physical, general and psychosocial needs.
• Functions under the direction and supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and preparing supplies as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients, aligning with patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
