Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist role with Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Oregon. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, assist physicians, and maintain sterile technique in a fast-paced lab.

Required: 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification; preferred radiology license and ENPC/PALS.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling catheters, wires, balloons and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment and sterile technique; manage documentation and equipment logs.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per infection control protocols.
• Assist with sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data; monitor and troubleshoot equipment.
