Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date: 09/20/2026. Schedule: 4x10-hour days with on‑call rotations in a hospital setting.

Assist in left and right heart catheterizations, participate in structural and vascular procedures, monitor patients, and ensure radiation safety as part of a busy cath lab team.

Qualifications

• Active licensure/certification required: ARRT (R), RCVT or RCIS.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cath lab experience with interventional and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support high-volume diagnostic and interventional left heart caths and right heart caths with or without biopsy.
• Participate in structural heart cases such as TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO/ASD repair, and Watchman.
• Engage in peripheral vascular procedures including run-offs, EVAR, and TEVAR as part of cath lab service lines.
• Operate cath lab equipment, monitor status, maintain sterile technique, and ensure radiation safety/ALARA.
• Prepare patients and lab for procedures, assist physicians during interventions, and document details.
• Assist with post-procedure care and turnover; coordinate with cardiosurgery/EP teams as needed.
• Adhere to unit policies, participate in orientation, and fulfill on-call responsibilities.
