Qualifications

• Current License in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains high level of patient care through communication with patients, families, and physicians.
• Works under the supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing procedures.
• Assists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and obtaining catheters, wires and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, patient-focused environment and timely, compassionate care.
• Updates and maintains accurate patient records.
