Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent)
- ARRT registration preferred
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and team dynamics
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operate imaging equipment for accurate visualization and documentation
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required
- Accurately manage patient records and document findings
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff for seamless patient care
