MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The role involves assisting the cardiac catheterization team in performing invasive procedures and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced lab environment.

Requirements include a current license in good standing, relevant specialty certifications, and about two years of Cath Lab experience, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains communication with patients, families and physicians to address needs.
• Operates ancillary equipment and assists cardiologist during procedures by obtaining catheters, wires and inventory.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains an environment focused on patient safety and quality care.
