Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado Springs, CO. The position requires 1+ year of acute care or cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology experience and involves 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with on-call requirements.

Travel assignment with potential for multiple facilities in the area, using Epic for charting. The role includes invasive cardiology procedures, 1:1 patient ratios, and duties such as equipment setup,

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year acute care or cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology experience.
BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
ARRT (Radiography) or RCIS credential required, license required if applicable.
Epic charting experience preferred.
Proficiency with vascular closure systems, equipment set up, prep of access site, and sterile field maintenance.
Experience with left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and life-threatening arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include accurate hemodynamic monitoring, equipment setup, access site preparation, scrubbing, and room circulation during procedures.
Performs a variety of cardiac procedures including ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, PPI, TAVR, Watchman, and rotablator atherectomy.
Maintains and stocks cath lab equipment and supplies, utilizing PACS system.
