Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Vancouver, Washington. The role focuses on supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a high‑volume lab.

The Cath Lab Tech will position patients, assist physicians, operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and ensure patient safety while maintaining sterile technique. A combination of critical thinking and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment and sterile technique; document patient data and equipment logs.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup following infection control protocols.
• Ensure radiation safety compliance and proper dosimeter use.
• Support inventory management and proper storage of sterile instruments.
