Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Illinois. You will join a dedicated clinical team supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced cath lab.

Candidates must have cardiac cath lab experience, active certifications (BLS, ACLS, ARR T/RCES/RCIS) and be comfortable with 12-hour day shifts. This travel role offers competitive pay, benefits, and a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain documentation including patient records and imaging data.

Cardiac Cath Lab tech experience
