Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role involves assisting physicians in cardiac catheterization procedures, scrubbing in, and monitoring hemodynamics in the lab.

A year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT (R) or RCIS certifications are required or preferred, with state licensing as applicable. Responsibilities include preparing rooms and equipment, maintaining QC, and participating in life-saving interventions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) - CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab rooms, ensure stock and sterilization as needed.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, drape and set up.
• Operate and QC all Cath Lab equipment and tools.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data accurately.
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures including CPR.
