Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. The position requires 2+ years of cath lab experience, ARRT and BLS certification, and IL licensure.

Expect 40 hours weekly across 10-hour day shifts, with 13 weeks length and rotating on-call requirements. This assignment takes place in a Level 1 trauma acute care facility with EPIC EMR, PACS, and McKesson cardiology systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required.
• Current ARRT and BLS certification required.
• IEMA certification required.
• Active IL license required (license required if applicable).
• Previous cath lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor hemodynamics, and circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Unit orientation typically lasts 3 to 5 days.
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotational basis.
• A mandatory call list is used when staff cannot fulfill their scheduled call shift.
