Job summary

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bemidji, Minnesota. The role requires work days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 40 hours per week, plus 1–2 calls and occasional weekend coverage.

Experience with heart caths, vascular and device implants is preferred. Certified radiologic technologists with RCIS/RCES are preferred, Epic and MacLab experience is a plus, and facility scrubs are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years preferred; sterile technique required.
• Experience with vascular, coronary and device implants.
• RCIS/RCES preferred in unit notes; cross-training to scrub may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform heart caths, peripheral vascular, pacemaker and ablation procedures.
• Monitor vitals and charting throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with EP procedures if applicable.

Job Description & Requirements

Cath Lab / Special Procedures Tech – Days

• Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 guaranteed hours/week


• Call: 1–2 times/week + every 4th weekend


• Late team: 1–2 times/week — stays until late procedures are completed.


• Experience: 2–5 years preferred; sterile technique experience required.


• Required experience: Vascular, coronary & device implants


• EP procedure experience: Preferred


• Procedures include heart caths, peripheral vascular, pacemakers and ablations, plus monitoring vitals/charting.


• Certs: AHA BLS + ACLS


• RCIS/RCES: Preferred in the unit notes. Rad Techs with ARRT/CRT who have cross-trained to scrub may also be accepted. (The separate “Required Certifications” field lists RCIS, so I would verify whether RCIS is truly required before ruling out an experienced Rad Tech.)


• Systems/Equipment: Epic, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impella and Carto.


• 3 Cath Labs


• No floating


• Facility-provided scrubs.
