Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington. The role requires 2 years of cath lab experience with pediatric cases and requires WA Rad Tech license or RCIS/ARRT certification.

Offering 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, with weekend call rotations. Travel employment with benefits and paid weekly. On-site role at a Level II pediatric trauma center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience; pediatric cath lab experience preferred.
• Licensure: WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC; RCIS/ARRT or equivalent certifications.
• BLS/PALS certifications required or active.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulator duties and patient monitoring in the cath lab.
• Support anesthesia for sedation and complex pediatric interventions as needed.

NoRequired License/Certs: BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC licensePatient Types/Common Diagnoses: Pediatric Congenital diagnostic and interventional: LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, collateral closure; Pediatric Electrophysiology: pacemaker implant and generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, EP study with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, PVC Skills required: Experience with above cases as circulator and patient monitoring (sedation needs provided by Anesthesia); Monitoring experience preferred: PACS: Picom, Hemodynamic: Merge. C-arm: Siemens ArtisEMR: EPIC Cupid (experience preferred)Floating: NoWeekend rotation: Call only for weekend coverage; 1-2 weekends per month (anticipate every 3rd week)On call? 7 call shifts (includes weekend) in 3 week rotation; weekday call: EOS to 0700 following day; weekend call: EOS Friday to 0700 Monday; 45-minute response time, no sleep room availableHoliday Expectations: call only; included in department call rotationShift times: 0700-1730; 10 hour shiftsScrub Color: provided by hospital; will provide lead as well.
