Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist. This position supports cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including cardiac invasive procedures and peripheral interventions. The role requires cardiac and peripheral case scrubbing experience, participation in call coverage, and the ability to respond within 30 minutes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); cardiac and peripheral case scrubbing experience; ability to scrub percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), and peripheral cases.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with required call coverage and a 30-minute response time; 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role supports cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, including cardiac invasive procedures, carotid procedures, arteriovenous graft procedures, endovascular aneurysm repair, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. Call coverage is assigned as needed and averages approximately 12 days per month, including at least one weekend. Holiday call is rotating. Orientation generally consists of one or two shifts, depending on skill level. The role does not require a radiology license.
