Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center located in City, State. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Certifications

Required Education

• 2-year associate degree in a science-related field OR

Required Skills

Support on the Unit

• On-site Manager/Supervisor
• Charge Nurse available Monday-Friday, 0600-1630

Charting System and Equipment

• EMR: Epic (required)
• Epic Cupid: Preferred
• IV Pumps: Baxter
• Medication Dispensing: Omnicell

Floating

No floating is required; however, you may occasionally need to stay with a patient in PACU following a large-bore sheath procedure. There will be no floating to IR or EP as these departments are separate.

Orientation

Facility and unit orientation consists of 4 days with 10-hour shifts.

Scheduling

• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend (Q3)
• Variable Rotation: 1 week of nights followed by 3 weeks of days
• Day Shift: Four 10-hour shifts
• Night Shift: Three 12-hour shifts
• Holiday Expectations: Possibly 1 holiday per assignment
• Time-off requests must be approved by the manager
